Kim Kardashian's former husband, Kris Humphries, is putting her engagement ring up for auction, according to reports. Well this is awkward.
Kris is said to be planning to auction off the big ol' diamond ring he gave Kim in an upcoming Christie's auction adequately named Bright & Beautiful.
The 28-year-old basketball player has yet to publicly reveal his plans to sell the Lorraine Schwartz rock, but a 16 carat ring matching the description of KK's bling has appeared on the auction list and is expected to sell for between $300,000 and $500,000.
The sum is less than a quarter of what the ring was believed to have originally cost, but what was he expecting? A tainted ring is sure to lose its value. After all the bad press following the couple's divorce lasted longer than their 72-day marriage.
