Kim Kardashian has shown her oft-overshadowed charitable side by joining celebrities such as Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kirk Douglas and Blair Underwood to serve up a Thanksgiving day meal to homeless people in Los Angeles.
The event was hosted on Wednesday by longtime Los Angeles Mission supporter and screen legend Douglas along with his wife Anne for the seventh year in a row.
Kardashian, who recently announced she is divorcing her husband Kris Humphries, will no doubt be glad to make the headlines for something other than her love life.
Getting stuck in with the task at hand - handing out 3,000 pounds of turkey, 700 pounds of mashed potatoes, 80 gallons of gravy and 600 pies - the reality TV star said: "I think it's important fot everyone to give back."
