The cast of Kinky Boots received a standing ovation as the musical celebrated a spectacular opening night.
Lyricist Cyndi Lauper, director Jerry Mitchell and writer Harvey Fierstein joined the cast and producers on stage to receive bouquets of flowers and the loudest cheers of the night.
Lauper even briefly danced with Matt Henry, who plays drag queen Lola, as the show's finale song, Raise You Up, played on. The six child stars who rotate the roles of young Lola and Charlie also arrived to take a bow.
In true Kinky Boots form, the curtains went down to the show's resident drag queens twerking for the rapturous crowd.
The opening night marks the end of three weeks of previews and the start of eight shows a week at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End.
