Just in case you don't follow the international ice-skating circuit, Daisuke Takahashi is pretty damn good at ice-skating.

Hailing from Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan, the 25-year-old figure skater has won a whole host of competitions in his time, including a bronze medal from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the World Championship in the same year.

The man's good at ice-skating, basically, and that's definitely something to be applauded.

But though he has legions of fans all over the world - he's a good-looking chap, after all - chances are you won't be expecting his latest fan club: this group of tiny kittens.

Shown in sharp silhouette as they stare longingly at their hero, the cats' names are not known - but one thing's for sure... they love Daisuke Takahashi.

That's right, it's a YouTube video of a group of kittens pawing at a TV screen showing Daisuke Takahashi dancing about on some ice. It doesn't really get cuter than that, now does it?
