While we were initially sceptical, Kylie Minogue’s Christmas album turned out to be one of the best things about last year’s festive season, so we were delighted to hear she’s having another crack of the whip this Yuletide.

However, there’s something we’ve noticed about her latest original Christmas song that we now can’t unhear.

The Aussie singer unveiled ‘At Christmas’ - the lead single from her repackaged edition of album ‘Kylie Christmas’ - on Tuesday (22 November).

And after hearing it for the first time, we were struck by the fact it bears more than a passing resemblance to the song used in the Babybel adverts.

Bear with us here.

If you listen to the opening bars of Kylie’s new tune (below)...

... you can definitely sing along with the ‘Ba-ba-ba ba-Babybel’ hook from the 1990s advert for the soft cheese (which was taken from the Beach Boys’ song ‘Barbara Ann’, FYI)

Seeeeee?

Although, this doesn’t quite beat the time Nick Grimshaw pointed out Fleur East’s ‘Sax’ sounds like the ‘Bargain Hunt’ theme tune

‘Kylie Christmas: Snow Queen Edition’ is released on Friday.
