Just when we thought Kylie Minogue’s forthcoming Christmas album couldn’t get any more errrm, interesting, it’s now been reported that it will feature a duet with James Corden.

According to The Sun, the duet has already been recorded and it’s already being lined up as the first single to be released from the album of festive-themed songs.
Feeling festive: James Corden and Kylie Minogue
Now that’s one Christmas-themed video we really do need to see.
A record label source told The Sun: “James recorded the track in secret with Kylie after she asked him to feature.
“It was meant to be the jokey song on the album but producers were so impressed there’s a strong chance it’s going to be the lead single.
“James is a very good singer and the song is actually a great listen.”
James and Kylie hosted the Brits in 2009
Kylie and James have been good friends for a number of years, having previously hosted the Brit Awards together in 2009 alongside James’ ‘Gavin & Stacey’ co-star Mathew Horne.
James has spoken of his hopes to record his own Christmas album in the past for his ‘own enjoyment’.
He said: “I have started to think I should make a Christmas album. I love Christmas music so much that I start listening to it in October.
“I’ve started listening to the Michael Buble album and I’m thinking maybe I’ll just do it on my own.”
James isn’t the only star set to feature on Kylie’s festive longplayer - Dannii Minogue has also reportedly been in the studio with her sister.
It will be the second time the siblings have recorded a duet, having also covered Abba’s ‘The Winner Takes It All’ for the soundtrack to the TV show ‘Beautiful People’.
