Kylie Minogue provided fans with a total nostalgia fest at her Hyde Park gig on Sunday night when she reunited with Jason Donovan on stage.

The pop princess was headlining Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park when she was joined by a gospel choir to sing ‘Especially For You’ - her 1988 duet with Jason.

After the second chorus she told the 70,000-strong crowd: “I need a dance partner”.

Cue Jason appearing from the wings who took Kylie in his arms before joining her on the mic to finish the song.

Jason later revealed that he hadn’t planned to join his ex-girlfriend on stage, as he was just there to watch the gig after turning up on his bike.

Jason wasn’t the only surprise guest at the outdoor show. Rick Astley also rocked up to sing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ with Kylie, as well as taking Robbie Williams’ part on ‘Kids’.

Before he left the stage Rick told Kylie: “You are a beautiful, strong, wonderful woman. You’ve just made my night. You’ve made my year.”

Kylie and Rick both enjoyed huge success as part of Stock Aitken and Waterman’s Hit Factory in the late 80s.

At one point, there were rumours that it was actually Rick singing on Kylie’s singles, but with his voice speeded up.
