Simon Cowell has given his verdict on whether he thinks Kylie Minogue will stay true to her word and leave ‘The Voice’ at the end of the current series.
The ‘X Factor’ mogul, who is currently getting ready to return to his show’s judging panel, reckons Kylie won’t be giving her seat on ‘The Voice’ any time soon.
Simon thinks Kylie's bluffing
“My gut feeling is that Kylie is coming back,” he told The Sun. “I don’t believe all this ‘commitments’ stuff.”
Kylie been a hit with fans since joining the BBC show’s panel alongside fellow newcomer Ricky Wilson and veterans Tom Jones and will.i.am.
The Aussie star has previously hinted that her turn as a mentor and judge will be a one-off, as she’ll leave the show to focus on her upcoming ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour which kicks off in September.
“I’m touring this year and the timings wouldn’t work,” she recently explained to The Sun.
The Aussie pop princess has been a huge hit on the show
Kylie’s tour is due to end in November, clashing with the blind audition stages which are usually filmed in October.
However, rumours that BBC execs are open to adjusting the schedule in order to accommodate for Kylie’s need have been fuelled by BBC1 chief Charlotte Moore’s latest comment.
“The new line-up has really connected with audiences and I look forward to it returning,” she told the paper.
The current series of ‘The Voice’ is at the live show stage, though the contestants are apparently having a few problems with their performances.
Whoever joins the panel will sit alongside Si, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh.
