Kym Marsh was among the guests at Manchester’s Sparkle festival this weekend, helping to celebrate the city's transgender community.

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress appeared as a judge at the Miss Sparkle beauty pageant, but didn’t let the fact she was behind a desk for most of the evening stop her from throwing on an amazing ensemble.
She stormed the stage before the pageant began, wearing a short navy dress and some high white shoes, while sporting an impressively high quiff.

Kym certainly looked like she was enjoying her stint as a judge at the transgender pageant, grinning and laughing along with some of the contestants.
Keeping it in the family, Kym was joined at the festival by her teenage daughter, Emilie, who also gave a performance on stage.

Emilie posed with her mum before taking to the stage, wearing a low-cut sheer jumpsuit, and a pair of towering red velvet heels.
The aspiring star famously appeared on the fourth series of ‘The Voice’ earlier this year, but failed to impress judges Rita Ora, will.i.am, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson, and went home after her Blind Audition.

Also in attendance at the Sparkle festival was boxing coach and former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant Kellie Maloney.

While we’re used to seeing Kellie glammed up at showbiz bashes, she took the opportunity to make a real statement at the transgender festival, wearing a simple t-shirt, which bore the message: “Transgender is not sexuality - let’s get it right.”
