Lady Gaga has whipped her Little Monsters into a frenzy by teasing the release of new music.
The singer suggested she is about to give birth to her sixth studio album, as she clapped back at pregnancy rumours.
Some US tabloid outlets had speculated Gaga was expecting her first child, following her split from fiancé Christian Carino earlier this year.
However, she shut all the chatter down, while also striking up a whole new conversation, with one simple tweet.
She wrote: “Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.”
LG6, as fans have been calling her upcoming release, will be the follow-up to 2016′s Joanne.
Reports have claimed Gaga has been working with Scottish producer SOPHIE on the new record, with others stating she has also teamed up with Joanne collaborator Mark Ronson again.
Gaga has, of course, enjoyed recent critical and commercial success with the A Star Is Born soundtrack.
Her song Shallow, which she and Bradley Cooper performed in the film as characters Jackson and Ally, topped the chart across the globe, and recently picked up the Oscar for Best Original Song.
Gaga recently dismissed speculation there was a romantic element to her relationship with co-star Bradley, following their performance of the single at last month’s Academy Awards.
Addressing the matter during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she said: “First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal.
“And people saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story.”
