Lamborghini Egoista Concept Car Is Ludicrously Beautiful (But You'll Never Own One)

Lamborghini's Insane Concept Car Is A Fighter Jet For The Road

Lamborghini are already well known for their outlandishly beautiful cars - but to celebrate their 50th birthday they've really kicked things up a gear. Or five.

Introducing the Egoista - a 600bhp megacar wrapped up in a aluminium and carbon fibre body that wouldn't look out of place on a top secret military drawing board.

The Egoista - which translates as "selfish" - is all about indulging the person fortunate enough to drive it.

There's only one seat, no radio and no room for your shopping - so you can get on with the thrill of driving without being distracted.

It doesn't even have a door. Instead the roof flips open and the driver has to climb over the bodywork to get inside.

The interior was inspired by the cockpit of an Apache helicopter complete with heads-up display, and power comes from a modified version of the 5.2-litre V10 found in the Gallardo.

Unfortunately the car is a one-off concept, meaning it is unlikely to ever go into production even if you did have the spare millions that it would probably cost.
