It's a downright shame the honourable nation of 'Nambia' slipped off the international community's radar for so many years.

How, if not for Great Leader Donald Trump's intervention at the United Nations, would the world's top covfefe-producing country (probably according to Kellyanne Conway of 'alternative facts' fame) have made a comeback on the global stage?

With a healthcare system so impressive it's left Americans shouting 'NObamacare', it's hardly a surprise so many are booking flights in droves to Africa's lesser-known 55th nation. Among them, according to Twitterville insiders, is Rachel Dolezal whom we can only imagine has given some groundbreaking talk on non-racialism at Nambia's renowned Trump University in Africa For Africans.

Unsurprisingly, interest in this country has piqued around the world and many questions have risen as to why its remained so covert for so long.

Others are using the heightened coverage to promote the country's tourism sector and fabulous things on offer.

Then there's all this never-before-seen, must-watch footage.

Turns out there's a bunch of other countries many of us have never heard of:

Even if you never make it to Nambia, not far off is a country we think you should definitely put higher on your bucket list if you're from abroad.

Namibia, to the west of Botswana and north-west of South Africa, is one of the least densely populated nations on earth, home to just over two million people. It's name derives from the Namib desert, said to be the oldest in the world.

It is known, among other things, as a top destination for ecotourism. Altogether, tourism is one of its biggest contributors to its GDP.

There's plenty to do in Namibia and it may just be one of the most under-rated countries in the region. Take a look for yourself at a picture gallery on Namibian Tourism Board's website. You won't regret your trip.
