The sound of thousands of One Direction fans' hearts breaking can be heard across the globe, as not only has Zayn Malik proposed to Perrie Edwards, Liam Payne has also gone public with his new girlfriend.
The boybander was reported to be dating old school friend Sophia Smith earlier this week, and obviously thought the premiere the the band's film 'One Direction: This Is US' was the perfect opportunity to show off his new lady friend.

The pair were snapped arriving hand in hand at the official after-party held at the Sanderson Hotel in central London on Tuesday night.
Liam - who split with ex Danielle Peazer back in May - confirmed news of his and Sophia's romance during an interview with Yahoo's OMG! earlier this week, explaining that they had hadn't been together long.
However, she faced the wrath of One Direction fans after attending the party with Liam, forcing him to speak out in defence of their relationship on Twitter.
He tweeted: "Always sad to get on here to read horrible stuff about someone you care about. There is that old saying tho if you ain't got s**t nice to say then f**k you."
We don't think that's quite how the saying goes Liam, but we get the gist.
