Liam Payne 'Pulled Out Of One Direction's Belfast Gig Due To Meltdown': 'The Pressures Of Fame Have Made Him Ill'

Is This The Reason Why Liam Payne Pulled Out Of 1D's Gig?

It sounds like Liam Payne is more than ready for One Direction’s hiatus, if latest reports are to be believed.

It has been claimed that the reason the singer pulled out of the group’s recent gig in Northern Ireland is because he has been made ill by the pressures and stress of being in the world’s biggest band.

The group were forced to cancel the concert at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Tuesday (20 October) night, after Liam was suddenly taken ill.

The Sun now says it was because he had a “meltdown” moments before he was due on stage.

“But the guys have rallied around Liam and are desperate to make sure he is OK.”

Liam has since broken his silence, after worried fans came out in support of him.

He tweeted: “I'm so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I'm feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday.

“Thank you so much for all the trends and lovely messages you guys did for me it really shows how amazing u guys actually are.

“As I said I'm feeling much better now and I really can't wait to perform and make it up to everyone later.”

The group announced plans to take a year’s break back in August, following the release of their fifth album ‘Made In The AM’ in November.
