At this point we are no longer claiming that the fashion critique we throw Lindsay Lohan's way is "from a place of love". It's from a place of frustration and irritation and basically suspecting that Mean Girls was a peak rather than a hint at future greatness.
Here she is at the amfAR pre-fashion week gala at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night (8 Feb) looking exactly like her mother:

You can see a side-by-side shot of Lindsay and Dina below in case you have forgotten what Lindsay's momager (no good ever came from the word 'momager', by the way) looks like.
Before you do that we should probably make at least a cursory effort with the outfit: The dress is Tom Ford and on Lindsay it comes over very dental nurse-y, the shoes are Prada and are fine, and the coat cuffs make it look like Lindsay has werewolf hands.
Right, with that done it's back to the mother/daughter style convergence.
A while ago it felt obvious to us that Dina was stealing her daughter's style - the two would be papped out and about looking strikingly similar and everyone assumed Dina was copying Lindsay and shook their heads in a sad and dramatic fashion. But this picture has made us think that perhaps Lohan The Younger is actually basing her style on Lohan The Elder who was stealing her style in the first place. From that point onward our thoughts became confused and we decided to eat a piece of toast instead.
Final thoughts? For goodness sake, go back to ginger! And stop using Bovril as fake tan.
