Lionel Richie Goes All Night Long With Pixie Lott And Rebecca Ferguson

Lionel Richie declared he was having "the best night ever" as he played his first show in London in over two years.

The 63-year-old soul crooner was joined by home-grown star Pixie Lott and X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson for the first gig at London's O2 Arena.

"I'm having the best night ever. The rest of the world may be falling apart but we are celebrating life in here," he said, before performing some of his timeless tracks like 'Hello', 'Penny Lover', 'Stuck On You' and 'All Night Long'.

The former Commodores frontman also sang some of their hits like 'Easy', 'Three Times A Lady', 'Sail On' and 'Still'.

"It's unbelievable how time flies. I'm here to proclaim that we've known each other for a very long time. I want to thank you for making me a part of your lives and I'll continue for the next 100 or 200 years," he insisted.

Rebecca duetted with Lionel - the father of Nicole Richie - on 'Endless Love', while Pixie joined him on 'Angel', a song they recorded together for Lionel's latest album 'Tuskegee'.

Lionel did a parody of Psy's 'Gangnam Style', which he described as "Lionel Richie style", and took a friendly pop at younger musicians.

"They don't make 'em like they used to. The old models can go all night long, the new ones run out of gas fast," he joked.

He will continue his Tuskegee tour in Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Nottingham.
