Liverpool's new manager Brendan Rodgers has addressed his new squad as the players return for pre-season training.
The former Swansea City coach chaired a meeting at the club's training ground in Melwood as he met his new charges for the first time.
Although Liverpool's Euro 2012 representatives, such as Steven Gerrard, Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson, were absent, Rodgers did get face-time with the likes of the recuperating Lucas Leiva, Jamie Carragher, Charlie Adam and Jose Enrique.
He will oversee his first match in charge of the Merseyside team against Toronto FC on July 21.
Rodgers was confirmed as the Reds' new manager in June after Kenny Dalglish was sacked by the club's Fenway Sports Group owners.
The 39-year-old Northern Irishman guided Swansea to an excellent debut season in the Premier League, finishing 11th in the table on 47 points - just five behind Dalglish's Liverpool in eighth.
