If we won an Olympic medal, we'd wear it everywhere - even the shower.
Brazilian judo champ Felipe Kitadai presumably had the same thought when he took his bronze medal into the bathroom with him on Sunday morning, just a day after winning third place.
But the men’s 60-kilogram division dropped his prize while attempting to keep it from water - and now wants to have it replaced.

Kitadai says the strap holding the medal broke when he held it with his teeth, leaving it with a small dent.
According to AP, Brazil's Olympic Committee have asked for him to get a new one. Brazilian website Globoesporte.com reports he has a chance of getting a new medal, with the powers that be at the International Olympic Committee saying they will consider the request.
