Jena.Theo have come a long way since winning Fashion Fringe in 2009 and this was evident in the duo's A/W13 collection.
Gone were the heavy fabrics and knits of previous winter lines, to make way for digital sand-washed prints and a palette dominated by gold, pink, white and black present to a soundtrack by Dig Or Die.
Some of it worked (most pieces had beautiful shape) and some of it didn't (the high-neck, baby doll mini-dress - not a winner) but overall it was inventive, original and definitely influenced by grunge (which considering how on trend the Nineties is, can only be a good thing).
