A London super-mansion boasting 11 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a gym and underground parking has had its price slashed by almost half after originally being put on sale for £65 million.

The five-storey home in St John's Wood, north-west London, is over 20 times the size of an average home and is described by the estate agents as being built to the "highest imaginable specification" and with "impeccable taste".

The property includes a marble-lined entrance, a ten-passenger lift, mahogany panelled study, a gym with hot tub, and an underground car park that can fit five vehicles. There's also a temperature controlled wine cellar.

However in striking evidence that suggests London's ultra-elite property market may be stagnating, the house is now available for offers just 'in excess of £35 million'. Such a price makes it now just worth 209 times as much as the £167,000 sale price for a typical English home.
