Following a stormy end to the bank holiday weekend, London is set to sizzle to 25C this weekend.
According to the Met Office temperatures will reach 24C on Saturday but the sunshine will take some time to come out. Low cloud is expected to hang over the city during the morning, making for a damp start to the day.
Sunday will be even hotter at 25C.
The sunny spell will come as a relief to Londoners who have faced cooler weather this week that's come with a biting northerly wind.
While forecasters have signaled a sunny weekend, according to the Evening Standard, they have also not ruled out heavy showers.
The warmer temperatures are expected to continue into next week, although there is further risk of showers from Monday.
