Not only does our addiction to technology affect our stress-levels and lead to back pain, but it is also causing loneliness and low self-esteem.
At least that's the message from Shimi Cohen's video 'The Innovation of Loneliness'.
Humans are social creatures, he explains, but more and more often we find ourselves substituting face-to-face interaction for social media.
As a result we are becoming increasingly reliant on technology - addicted to the ability to edit our lives, pictures and thoughts - and less on each-other.
Being constantly connected, but behind a screen has worrying consequences. "If we are not able to be alone, we're only going to know how to be lonely," explains Shimi.
