Loose Women host Jamelia has sparked outrage after saying plus-size clothes should be banned from shops because she believes trendy clothes in bigger sizes promote an unhealthy image.
In a discussion about whether plus-sized clothing should be marketed towards overweight teenagers, Jamelia said: "It shouldn't be normalised in high street stores. They should have specialist shops.
"I think everyone should have access to lovely clothes, BUT I do not think it's right to facilitate people living an unhealthy lifestyle.
"I don't believe stores should stock clothes below or above a certain weight. They should be made to feel uncomfortable when they go in and can't find a size."

After her comments provoked a backlash on social media, the former pop star then went on Good Morning Britain to defend – and then repeat – her comments.
She said: "I didn't make it clear on the show that I was talking about extremes ... above a size 20 and below a size 6."
Presenter Kate Garraway asked Jamelia how she thought people would feel if they couldn't buy the clothes that fit them in their normal high street shops.
Jamelia replied: "I do agree with what you are saying. Knowing I offended people really upset me and knowing I made people question themselves and their choices. All I can do is apologise for that.
"But I do stand by what I said - I am a real women with real opinions. I'm not here to play some villain. It's not that, I get paid to voice my opinion. Occasionally you offend people."
She added: "I understand that I offended people. That does upset me but I do believe we are all entitled to our opinions. As are the people who have hounded me on Twitter and Instagram. I get it. One of the things I would also like to reiterate is I genuinely love people.
"Everyone has a right to feel wonderful and feel beautiful and it was never my intention to make people feel any less than what they are."
Viewers took to Twitter to voice their outrage at Jamelia's comments.
One, Maisy Plater said: "Why can't everyone, whatever size, have nice, fashionable clothes to wear? Why is this a topic to argue. #loosewomen"
Another user Deborah Playford argued: "Very easy for slender #jamelia who can walk into ANY shop to say +size clothes shouldn't be readily available. #loosewomen #depressing"
And Twitter user RonNewman8 added: "The #loosewomen need to turn in the news and see how pressuring a young girl to be thin led to her death! Looks aren't everything in life."
