The ‘Loose Women’ have demonstrated there’s not much they won’t discuss over the last few weeks, but we doubt Rylan Clark-Neal was expecting to be grilled about his pubic hair when he appeared as a guest on Monday (11 July).
However, that’s exactly what happened when he was interviewed by the panel on the ITV daytime chat show, as Janet Street-Porter turned her attention to his manscaping.
The journalist became curious as to whether his carpet matches his curtains when he explained to her and fellow co-stars Coleen Nolan, June Sarpong and Nadia Sawalha that he is naturally a red-head and dyes his hair.
Admitting he would “love nothing more” than to return to his ginger roots after colouring it since the age of 15, Janet asked if he also dyed his beard.
Confirming he did, she then cheekily enquired: “What about your pubes?”
Her question left Rylan and the studio audience shocked, with her latest qualifying it by saying: “I’ve got to ask the question!”
“Tell you what I’ll show you mine if you show me yours!” Rylan quipped, before Janet then high-fived him for his witty retort.
“No I don’t do anything down there. I can’t believe I’m actually having this conversation, but my eyebrows and body are quite dark, it’s just my roots. But as I’m getting older, ‘X Factor’ made me grey. I’m literally going grey now.”
So there, now you know the intimate details of Rylan’s nether regions.
The presenter, who is fronting this year’s series of ‘The Xtra Factor’, made ‘This Morning’ history with his husband Dan last week, when they became the first gay couple to ever front the ITV daytime show.
