A Lottery millionaire and cage fighter who admitted brutally beating his girlfriend in a violent attack is facing jail on Thursday.
Gavin Davies, 29, beat partner Daniah Hussain in a "prolonged" violent assault months after clinching a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle win.
Davies, of Ammanford, South Wales, toasted his good fortune with champagne at a luxury hotel after clinching £1 million in January.
At the time he vowed to turn his back on cage fighting and transform his win into a much larger fortune.
But he was remanded in custody at Swansea Crown Court last month after admitting actual bodily harm on his girlfriend on April 20.
Davies also admitted a charge of assault on December 31. Two other assault charges, all relating to his girlfriend, were withdrawn.
Claims his victim is seeking medical help to reset her nose will be taken into account during today's sentencing if confirmed.
Davies splashed out on three luxury cars, including a Lamborghini LP560-4, in the wake of his Lottery win.
His attack in April happened while at the wheel of his "everyday" Audi during an argument between him and his partner.
The violent attack was a "prolonged assault involving spitting", the court heard last month.
His victim, who suffered swelling around the eyes and bruising to the neck, has since gone into hiding.
Judge Keith Thomas previously adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report.
