Louis Smith is the latest celebrity to become affected by a sex tape scandal, after explicit video footage of him was reportedly sold to a celebrity website.
The alleged recording was taped three years ago, and is believed to show the Olympic gymnast and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ champion doing a dance for an unknown model over Skype, before stripping off and performing a sex act on himself.

A TV insider has told The Sun that the leaked footage could have a negative impact on Louis’ career, particularly after appearing as a judge on light entertainment show ‘Tumble’ on Saturday evenings.
The source said: “It’s terrible for Louis. He’s desperate for a TV career but ‘Tumble’ is aimed at a family audience.”
After bagging himself a silver medal in the most recent Olympic Games, having already earned a bronze in Beijing four years earlier, Louis was awarded the Glitter-Ball Trophy in the 2012 series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, beating off stiff competition from Kimberley Walsh and Denise Van Outen.
He has just finished his stint as a judge on ‘Tumble’, which saw Bobby Lockwood, star of 'Wolfblood' and 'House of Anubis' voted the winner by the British public over the weekend.
Last month Jennifer Lawrence became embroiled in a similar scandal, when she was one of several celebrities whose private images were illegally obtained and posted online, which Kate Upton and ‘Downton Abbey’ actress Jessica Brown Findlay also found themselves the victims of.
