Louise Mensch 'Pins Tory Election Hopes' On Ebola Outbreak

NEW YORK -- Louise Mensch, the former Conservative MP for Corby, has suggested that voters would "not risk" the Labour Party should there be a "serious outbreak" of Ebola in the UK.

Posting on Twitter, the author, who currently lives in New York, opined:

Mensch, who has recently engaged in a Twitter feud with Ukip mouthpiece Breitbart London, was immediately attacked on the network for being, as one responder put it, “completely mental”.

Others suggested the Tories pinning their hopes on Ebola was perhaps not the best election strategy. Here is a flavour of the responses:
