Richard Curtis, the director behind MyDaily's favourite Christmas movieLove Actually (bar Home Alone and It's A Wonderful Life)is packing in the day job and won't direct another film again.
You know what that means. The sequel we'd all been waiting for will never ever, like ever happen. *Uses mouse mat to wipe away tears*.
"The problem with directing movies is it's three years of something, where you are putting in quite tough work every day on the off-chance you make a good film at the end of it," he told The Telegraph.
"So I thought maybe I wouldn't take that gamble again. I may change my mind, but I feel perhaps I'm done now."
In all fairness, we seriously doubted Chiwetel Ejiofor would reprise his role as Keira Knightley's husband after his Oscar-nominated performance in 12 Years A Slave. Ah ha! You did know his face from somewhere.
