Here's How Love Island's Latest Dumping Could Play Out – But We Think There's A Further Twist In Store

Lucie Donlan & Joe Garratt and Anton Danyluk & Elma Pazar are currently at risk.

The Love Island villa is set to be rocked tonight, as the show hosts its second dumping of the series, but we predict there could be a further twist in store.

We already know there are four people at risk of being thrown off the Island, but with with a visit from Caroline Flack on the cards, somehow we don’t think this elimination is going to play out as straightforwardly as first thought.

To rewind a little bit, Sunday night’s episode saw a recoupling, after which all the couples were asked to say which two other pairs they believed were the least compatible. The group was told the two couples who received the most votes would face being dumped from the Island.

After each couple sent in their nominations via text, last night it was revealed Lucie Donlan & Joe Garratt and Anton Danyluk & Elma Pazar had scored the most votes, and were therefore deemed the least compatible.

But while everyone assumed it would be one couple getting the chop, narrator Iain Stirling later announced that the public were allowed to save only one Islander from each couple, meaning both pairs face being torn apart.

However, this is Love Island, and we reckon producers could still have something else up their sleeves.

We know that Flackers does not get packed off on a flight to Spain for nothing, with her arrival in the villa marking a change to the usual dumping procedure, so we don’t reckon she’s flying over just to announce the result of the vote.

Instead, we’re predicting Caroline will turn the result on its head by passing power back over to the Islanders.

If we were betting people, we’d say Lucie should be safe, following the recent Ofcom complaints the show has received over Joe’s controlling behaviour and some of the other female Islanders’ treatment of her.

Anton is also a more likely pick to be saved given the short length of time Elma’s had in the villa, meaning she and Joe will be in danger.

We reckon Caroline will then ask the remaining Islanders to pick one of them to leave the villa immediately.

Juicy, right?

Of course, it would not be the first time the Islanders have been forced to choose someone to go home.

Eyal and Zara were voted off in a similar way last year

In last year’s series, they had to pick one boy and one girl to leave after Adam Collard & Zara McDermott, Alex George & Ellie Brown, and Eyal Booker and Megan Barton Hanson scored the fewest votes, with Eyal and Zara eventually shown the door
