MAC Cosmetics’ latest perfume release is about to make lipstick obsessives very happy (especially if you’re a fan of the perma-sell out Velvet Teddy).
The beauty brand is launching Shade Scents, a range of six fragrances paired with its most iconic lip colours - Velvet Teddy, Ruby Woo, Crème d’Nude, Candy Yum-Yum, My Heroine, and Lady Danger.
Each scent is designed to let you experience your favourite lipstick in a whole new way, allowing you to smell the ‘colour’.
So what exactly does the deep-toned beige Velvet Teddy smell like? A delectable, sensual blend of wild honey and creamy musk.
Heroine, Rihanna’s favoured purple, is an incense smoked leather. Barbie pink Candy Yum-Yum, is a sweet blend of cotton candy and tropical fruits. Crème d’Nude, a pale toffee shade, is a soft musky amber.
On the red side of things, the classic Ruby Woo is a deep, woody red leather, while the orange-toned Lady Danger is filled with wild cherry, wood and floral notes.
The Shade Scents collection launches at Harrods on Friday 25 November and across MAC stores from Thursday 1 December.
