Police have launched a murder inquiry after a machete attack victim died following a fight outside a pub.
Gloucestershire Police said the 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after being attacked near the Pike and Musket pub in Tuffley, Gloucester, at about 12.40am today.
Officers said two other men, aged 18 and 22, were also assaulted by an offender armed with a weapon believed to be a machete. There is believed to have been a fight outside the pub.
The 22- year-old man was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries, where he underwent surgery and is now in a stable condition.

In a statement confirming details of the incident, Gloucestershire Constablary said: "Police are treating this as a murder investigation and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened in the pub's car park or was in the area around the time of the incident and may have seen something which may help with inquiries."
