Madonna has made a big threat against people smoking around her, stating that she would pull out of a performance if concert-goers did not put out their cigarettes.
The singer is well known for her range of diets and healthy living but seems to have taken it one step further by taking a diva-like stance about people who smoke in her presence.
Before a gig in Chile last week, the Material Girl smelled someone smoking a cigarette and refused to continue with her sound check until it had been put out. And the Mirror report that a fan in the crowd managed to record the whole thing on video.
"There are people smoking right now. No smoking! If you're going to smoke cigarettes, I'm not doing the show," Madonna told the crowd.
When the people watching her perform refused to stop smoking, possibly because she was talking to them in English and they were in a Spanish-speaking country, she continued to rant.
"You don't care about me? I don't care about you. All right?
"Are we going to play that game? I'm not kidding. I can't sing if you smoke. If you love me then don't smoke. No smoking!"
Madonna then stormed off the stage to boos from the crowd.
But the pesky smokers must have cleared up their act in time for the show itself, as the concert still went ahead.
