Magnum has launched two vegan ice creams in the UK - and what better timing, with an unexpected influx of hot weather due next week?
The new ice creams come in two flavours: Classic, which is basically chocolate and ice cream, and Almond, which is essentially a Classic with almond bits embedded in the outer layer. Yum.
The new release comes after two hugely successful launches in both Sweden and Finland. Ice creams, which come in packs of four, are priced at a very reasonable £3.69.
For those now pondering how they’ve crafted their non-dairy ice cream, the brand has revealed the creamy centres are made with a plant-based alternative: pea protein.
The cocoa beans used for the outer shells are carefully selected and from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. The product has also been certified by the European Vegetarian Union.
See you in the frozen aisle.
