A charity that believes trying to keep a positive attitude is “vital” for cancer patients is aiming to raise their spirits during daunting times.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Look Good Feel Better headed into The Huffington Post UK studio to film a live makeup tutorial designed for women dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment.

Look Good Feel Better hold free skincare and makeup workshops in hospitals and cancer care centres all over the UK for people undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.

The two-hour sessions are led by trained makeup artists who volunteer their time to the charity, sharing tips and techniques to help with the visible side effects of treatments like chemotherapy.

Attendees will also receive a goody bag of makeup to take home, donated by some of the biggest beauty brands around.

Alternatively, the site is also host to a goldmine of beauty information - including beauty tutorials for different skin tones, skin and nailcare advice, and tips for styling headwear and wigs.
