In the fog of misinformation that has swirled around the mysterious disappearance of the Malaysian Airlines flight which vanished somewhere between Malaysia and China, much of the evidence of a crash or a hijacking has been proven untrue.
We know that flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing departed at 12.41am, with its last known location being the Gulf of Thailand, roughly 40 minutes into its journey.
We know there were 227 passengers on board from more than 10 countries from 14 countries, but 153 were Chinese.
And that's basically all we know.
All options are being considered, but no hard and fast evidence, and no fragment of the plane has been found.
Here's what was rumoured, and here's what happened when it was checked out.
