'Malcolm in the Middle' star Frankie Muniz has revealed to his fans via Twitter that he's suffered a 'mini-stroke'.

The 26-year-old actor, famous for his comedic antics as the middle brother in the hit TV show, told his fans that he is recovering after he had to go to hospital last week...

'Malcolm in the Middle' was one of Fox's biggest shows, running for six years until 2006.

More recently, Muniz has appeared on the big screen as Buddy Holly in 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story' and on TV in Last Man Standing, as well as a cameo role in 'Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23'.

Muniz's co-star Bryan Cranston, who played Malcolm's befuddled father, has gone on to great success, winning Emmy Awards for his lead role of Walter White in 'Breaking Bad', and appearing in films including 'Red Tails' and 'Argo'.
