A man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a vulnerable pensioner from the US was found wandering alone in Hereford with no memory of who he was.
A 75-year-old man known as Roger Curry was handed over to emergency services in the town near the Welsh borders on November 7 last year.
Detectives investigating how he ended up alone in Hereford have bailed a 50-year-old man from Taunton, Somerset.
He has been bailed until June 23 as officers continue their inquiries.
West Mercia Police said: "The victim remains happy and content and continues to be cared for by Herefordshire Council."
Sergeant Sarah Bennett, who has been leading the inquiries, said: "We would like to thank the public and the media for the significant amount of support they have shown by sharing our appeals to identify him far and wide."
