A man has been charged with murder after a 24-year-old was shot dead near a takeaway.

Omar Hutson, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested in Wandsworth, south-west London, on Friday following the death of Salim Coulter.

Mr Coulter, a trainee gas engineer who lived with his family in White City, was found dead in a car in Walham Grove, Fulham, on December 5 after visiting the Jerky Chicken takeaway.

Hutson, who was charged with Mr Coulter's murder on Saturday, is also charged with the attempted murder of a 25-year-old man in Walham Grove on December 5 and possession of a firearm.

He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

A second person was also arrested on Friday and has been released on bail pending further inquiries, the Metropolitan Police said.
