The partner of a pregnant woman who was found strangled has spoken of his heartbreak, saying they had already named the unborn child.
Mother-of-two Isobel Parker, known to friends as Becky, was found dead at her home in Burnham, Essex. The 23-year-old was expecting her third child.
Factory worker Matthew Smith, 23, of Wood Corner Caravan Park in Maldon, has been charged with murder following the incident on Friday and is being held in custody ahead of his next court appearance.
Ms Parker's partner Shane said: "Becky was the best woman I could have ever wished to meet.
"We were so looking forward to the birth of our first child together, a little girl, who we were going to name Charmaine."
Ms Parker's mother also issued a statement describing her loss.
She said: "Becky was such a bubbly girl and a fantastic mother who adored spending time with her two precious children. Her whole life revolved around her children."
The victim's parents added: "We have been denied of our beautiful daughter and unborn granddaughter.
"Becky will be greatly missed by the whole family."
