Mario Falcone has claimed he was forced to dumb down his vocabulary when he starred on ‘TOWIE’ for fear of confusing viewers and castmates.
The reality TV star reckons producers banned from saying long words because he wouldn’t be understood.
“I had to dwindle it down a bit when I did ‘TOWIE’,” he told The Mirror.
Mario also claimed that he is actually much more articulate in his day-to-day life than he appeared on screen.
He added that he was pleased he didn’t have to pretend to be less intelligent, saying: “I don’t do it anymore, I bought my soul back from the devil.”
Mario quit the ITVBe reality show last year, following a suspension for breaking the show’s rules for promoting slimming on social media.
He said at the time: "I have had a great time on ‘TOWIE’ and relished the many opportunities the show has given me but after 14 series, I feel it is time to move on and explore something new."
Former ‘Geordie Shore’ star Vicky Pattison recently revealed that the Essex star had been helping her settle into her new home, after she moved to the area from her native Newcastle.
She wrote in her new! Magazine column: “He’s an amazing - such a great guy and a brilliant help. I couldn’t have done this move without him."
