A road in North Yorkshire was closed on Saturday after a lorry carrying mashed potato spilled a quarter of its load.
The carb-laden incident closed the A64 in both directions as emergency services attempted to deal with the rather strange incident.
Even freezing chemicals were used in a attempt to lift the mash from he surface of the road while the fire services used good old high-powered hoses.
After a few hours the road was reopened. No one was injured in the incident.
