What? Having a 60s throwback moment in a Peter Pilotto dress that looked like it was high on LSD. The laser-cut mini, with its peplum detail, almost-indecently short hemline, and psychedelic print is definitely an opinion-divider. We think she manages to pull it off (just), but it was a close one there for a while.
On the plus side, the actress picked up the award for favourite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in the Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
Where? The 2013 People's Choice Awards, the Nokia Theatre, LA, 9 January.
Verdict? Kudos to Emma for trying something different; and as the People's Choice Awards is slated as the "younger, funkier" version of the Golden Globes, she nailed the tone of the event.
