Now that Cheryl Cole is married, perhaps she'll opt for hosting her first wedding anniversary at McDonald's. We'd like to say we're kidding, but if she did, she'd actually be part of a new trend which is sweeping Hong Kong...
McDonald's restaurants in the city are now open for anniversary, engagement and bridal shower parties. The really weird part is, this service was at the request of customers.
Don't believe us? Take a look at this...
"We started the program because many customers tell us McDonald's is where they first started dating... McDonald's is where there love story grew... they want to hold their wedding parties and even anniversary parties at McDonald's - to relive sweet beginnings and bring their romantic story full circle."
Customers can choose from four wedding packages. The 'Bargain' costs $373 (just over £200) while the top of the range 'Deluxe' package costs $1290, (around £750).
If you fork out for the top-of-the-range service, you can expect a two-hour venue rental, 50 invites, wedding gifts, McDonaldland character gifts for 50 guests, apple pie cake display, Crystal McDonald's house, decorations, and a pair of McD's balloon wedding rings - and those are just a few of the delightful treats in store. Who wouldn't want balloon wedding rings?! We're lovin' it.
For now, these obscure genius services are exclusive to Hong Kong, but fans of a Big Mac can only hope they'll expand further afield.
