Carmen Dell'Orefice is a woman who has truly mastered the art of modelling.
The 82-year-old supermodel is the star of New You Magazine's Spring issue proving grey is the new black. And cheekbones like these really do exist.
Dell'Orefice's look is pure decadent glamour: the bouffant 'do, the sleek black catsuit and statement necklace together with her down-to-a-tee pose is masterful. With 70 years in the industry (and FYI she was on the cover of Vogue at the age of 15), she's still got it.
In her interview with the magazine Dell'Orefice reveals: "We're all works of art in progress. I'm still figuring out how to do the job, and who I am!
"When you understand how to do that dance, when the photographer says, 'Hold it, do it,' and you know you're getting it right. Oh, the fun. It is fun."
This is a woman who knows the modelling game and can still own it in front of the camera. Despite admitting "the fashion business is not the same. It's lost its old-world glamour and civility", her shoot for New You mag makes us hope she doesn't bow out of the industry any time soon.
