She told The Mirror: "I’d definitely be open to doing It’s a Scary World again. It’s just crazy family life everyone relates to."
The newspaper has also said that this would give Mel an opportunity to set the record straight about her relationship with her husband, after rumours were rife last year that her marriage could be in trouble.
Stephen was forced to deny rumours of domestic violence, after Mel was mysteriously rushed to hospital with an undisclosed illness.
Mel later went silent on social media, but shared a family photo on Christmas Day that showed Stephen spending the day with her and her children, putting rumours of a split to bed.
Following this, Mel has also been keen to dismiss accusations of domestic violence, insisting: "My husband didn't hit me… me and [Stephen] are madly in love."
A TV insider added: "Mel’s show would make Keeping Up With the Kardashians with Kim and co look like something from CBBC.
“Mel’s one of the hottest properties on telly with a personal life to match – and an access-all-areas show would be TV gold.”
