Melanie Sykes has got engaged to her toyboy lover she met on Twitter three months ago.
The 42-year-old TV star is set to wed Jack Cockings, 26 - who is 15 years her junior - after a whirlwind romance that saw the pair publicly swapping saucy snaps and messages on the social networking site.
Jack popped the question on Mel's 42nd birthday last week and the TV presenter has since confirmed the news on her Twitter page, writing: "To my beautiful twitter friends just want to let you know that me &Jack @bespokespartan are engaged to be married and we are very giddy xxx."
She later added: "Your messages of congratulations have made me cry in a gorgeous lovely way. Thank you so much peeps. I love you xxxxx."
Mel - who has been flashing her sparkler on her new ITV show Let's Do Lunch With Gino And Mel - hit the headlines back in June when racy tweets between her and Jack raised a few eyebrows.
In one she said she had "the giddiest knickers of my life" before telling her new lover "I've got the raging horn, please take me".
In another, she wrote: "Jack the rabbit I need some bunny love so hop to it!!" He replied: "Only if I can bounce into your face! Xxx".
The former model was previously married to the actor Daniel Caltagirone before splitting in 2008 after eight years of marriage. They have two children, Roman, 10, and Luca, eight.
