Tonight Michelle Dockery will hit the Golden Globes, where she'll have her fingers crossed for a Downton Abbey victory. And in the mean time, she's busy hitting the party circuit and proving she's LA's best-dressed Brit.
Her latest pre-Globes appearance was at HBO bash honouring the awards ceremony, and as per, she had understated elegance down to a T.
Joining Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and a bevy of other TV stars, she was chic in a scallop-hem fit-and-flare dress and matching simple black stilettos.
Over the last few days Michelle's worked a series of 50s-inspired silhouettes. So we wonder: could a retro look could be on the cards for tonight's big event?
Thanks to an E! Online interview, we know that the Brit beauty has her gown picked out, though she's keeping schtum on the details.
She told E! of her gown: "It's lovely, I'm very happy with it. There's some very beautiful collections out there, but I fell in love with this one."
And promised: "I like to mix it up. I wanted to wear something different from last year."
For the 2013 Globes, she opted for a white floor-sweeping Alexander Vauthier gown with lace bustier. So perhaps she's planning on going a more colourful route this year.
One thing we can be sure of however, is what Michelle will be listening to while she get's ready.
She told E! that Jessie Ware's album Devotion is her current soundtrack, thanks to the "uplifting" tunes. "She's just amazing," Michelle gushed.
We're sure the feeling is mutual.
