According to former Disney star Miley Cyrus, Birmingham is officially the "sluttiest city in the world". The 21-year-old singer is thought to have declared the Midland metropolis as the "slut" capital of the world on stage in the city during the UK leg of her 'Bangerz' tour.
Up to her usual tricks, Miley asked the Brummie audience to flash her before announcing: "Birmingham is officially the sluttiest city in the world," reports the Birmingham Mail.
While some locals were delighted to have "overtaken Leeds" others certainly weren't happy with Miley's musing.
"@MileyCyrus you have the cheek to say birmingham the sluttiest place in the UK," one Twitter user said, adding: "Have you seen yourself?"
Another, clearly confused by Miley's announcement said: "Dunno whether to feel chuffed or embarrassed that Miley Cyrus said Birmingham is the sluttiest place in the UK."
However, it seems the majority were proud of their city's new moniker. "@MileyCyrus was actually amazing last night, and apparently birmingham won sluttiest city, so f*cking proud guys," one user tweeted, with another adding: "Miley Cyrus is the only person I don't mind calling me (Birmingham) a slut but that's because she's super f*cking cool."
