Miley Cyrus: 'I Used To Feel Like I Would Die Without Liam Hemsworth'

Miley Opens Up About Liam Split

Miley Cyrus has confessed that during her relationship with Liam Hemsworth there were times when she thought she "would have died" if she had to be alone.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer revealed in a chat with Elle that before they called off their engagement she used to suffer from anxiety at the thought of not having Liam in her life, and also used to worry about leaving Disney when ‘Hannah Montana’ was over.

Miley also revealed that now that she is single and has control of her music career, she feels more independent.

“I lay in bed at night by myself and I'm totally okay, and that's so much stronger than the person three years ago, who would have thought they would have died if they didn't have a boyfriend.”

During the interview, Miley also took the opportunity to discuss feminism, stating that she doesn't think her performances are not degrading to women.

“But I'm part of the evolution of that. I hope.”
