Two episodes of Doctor Who that were thought to have been lost forever have been discovered, the BBC has announced.
Many of the original episodes of the cult sci-fi show were lost after broadcast because routine archiving was not in place at the BBC until 1978.
However fans will be overjoyed at the news that two of those missing episodes will soon be available to watch.
Episode three of the four-part Galaxy Four, first broadcast in 1965, has been found. Episode two of The Underwater Menace from 1967 has also been found.
The announcement was made at the 'Missing Believed Wiped' event at the BFI in London.
